These terms govern your use of Polymodus services provided by POLYMODUS PTE. LTD.. By creating an account, purchasing a service, or using a hosted service that requires acceptance of these terms, you agree to them. If you use Polymodus for an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
Key definitions
Customer Content means models, project documents, data, code, files, assets, parameters, prompts or instructions, and other material that you or your authorised users provide to Polymodus.
Generated Output means source code, simulation results, reports, exports, visualisations, or other output generated from your Customer Content through the product.
Polymodus Technology means Polymodus software and services, including the simulation engines, compiler and generators, WebAssembly runtime, server software, desktop runtime, SDKs, libraries, product interfaces, documentation, and related proprietary technology. Third-party software is not Polymodus Technology and remains governed by its own licence terms.
The service and accounts
Polymodus provides simulation authoring, execution, analysis, collaboration, publishing, data, and related workflow capabilities. Features may differ between local, browser, desktop, hosted, self-hosted, free, paid, beta, and enterprise offerings. You are responsible for keeping account credentials and authorised sessions secure and for activity performed through your account unless caused by a failure for which POLYMODUS PTE. LTD. is legally responsible.
Your Customer Content
As between you and POLYMODUS PTE. LTD., you retain ownership of your Customer Content. You grant POLYMODUS PTE. LTD. only the rights reasonably necessary to host, copy, process, execute, transmit, display, back up, and otherwise handle Customer Content to provide, secure, support, and maintain the product features that you request. This licence does not transfer ownership of your Customer Content to POLYMODUS PTE. LTD..
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to provide Customer Content to the service and for configuring sharing, collaboration, publishing, and external data connections appropriately.
Generated Output
As between you and POLYMODUS PTE. LTD., POLYMODUS PTE. LTD. does not claim ownership of Generated Output created from your Customer Content, to the extent that the output is capable of ownership under applicable law. You may use that Generated Output subject to any rights held by third parties and the restrictions applicable to Polymodus Technology.
Generated Output may contain, call, reference, or require Polymodus Technology. Ownership of Generated Output does not transfer ownership of, or grant an unrestricted licence to, Polymodus Technology. For example, exported source may depend on proprietary Polymodus runtime libraries that remain separately licensed.
Polymodus Technology and software licence
POLYMODUS PTE. LTD. and its licensors retain all rights in Polymodus Technology. Your right to use downloadable, local, WebAssembly, desktop, SDK, self-hosted, or other distributed Polymodus software is governed by the applicable purchase or entitlement and the Polymodus Software License. Open-source and third-party components remain subject to their own licence terms, described further in our third-party notices.
Local and hosted storage
Local browser or device storage is under the control of your device and can be lost through deletion, browser resets, device failure, or migration. Hosted storage, synchronization, and collaboration operate only when those services are enabled and used. You should keep exports or backups appropriate to the importance of your work.
Simulation results and informational outputs
Simulation and analytical results depend on implemented engine semantics, model structure, assumptions, inputs, data quality, seeds, numerical settings, and execution configuration. They are tools for analysis and judgement, not guarantees of real-world outcomes. Product defects remain product defects; this clause does not reclassify an incorrect engine result as user modelling error. Life outputs are informational and are not official government, financial, legal, medical, or other professional determinations.
Acceptable use
You must not use the service unlawfully; infringe the rights of others; introduce malicious code; interfere with service integrity or availability; evade authentication, entitlement, rate, or security controls; probe another user's data without permission; misrepresent simulation outputs as guaranteed facts; or use publishing and collaboration features to distribute content you do not have the right to distribute.
Paid services
The price, currency, billing cadence, included capabilities, renewal terms, taxes, and cancellation or refund rules for a paid offer must be shown in the applicable checkout, order, or offer before purchase. A signed order, enterprise agreement, or other written agreement may supplement or override these terms for that purchase.
Third-party services
Optional integrations, identity providers, payment providers, data sources, and other third-party services may have their own terms. POLYMODUS PTE. LTD. is not responsible for a third party's independent service, but remains responsible for its own obligations when selecting and using service providers on its behalf.
Availability, beta features, and suspension
We may change or discontinue features, and beta or experimental features may change without the stability guarantees of generally available features. We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, non-payment, abuse prevention, or a material breach of these terms, using proportionate process where practicable.
Warranties and responsibility
Mandatory rights under applicable law are not excluded. Except for rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be limited, the service is provided subject to the service description and applicable paid arrangement. Any final production limitation-of-liability or exclusion clause must be read subject to applicable consumer and unfair-contract-term law and any separately agreed enterprise terms.
Termination and data
You may stop using local features at any time and may request closure of an account through the available account or support process. On termination, rights to use Polymodus Technology end except where an applicable perpetual licence, order, or law provides otherwise. Hosted Customer Content is retained or deleted according to the Privacy Policy, applicable service controls, legal requirements, and any separate agreement.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without excluding mandatory rights that apply regardless of a contractual choice of law. Material changes will be dated and communicated through an appropriate service channel before they take effect where required.
